The perp, an entire waste of oxygen and space, looks like he fell off the back of a garbage truck. His appearing to exhibit “diminished mental capacity” is obviously going to be his defense party line. Meanwhile, this beautiful and brave young woman will go through the rest of her life with half a foot and a shoulder torn off, disfigured and uncomfortable every waking moment. This miserable result of animal coupling in the gutter meanwhile gets to keep all his body parts. He should be executed for his unprovoked attack on an innocent woman which resulted in the horrific mutilation of the woman’s brave daughter. If he did it once, he could do it again. Take him out!
I sure hope one of the family’s relatives/friends kills this piece of shit ASAP.

The girl is a hero, but a dead one. Her mother now has to live with the double nightmare of losing her daughter AND feeling that it is her fault her daughter died. A mother’s worst nightmare.
This is a wonderful story but a horrible event. it would have been a million times better if the daughter had not saved her mother. A good mother would always trade places with her dead child. I dont think the mother will ever get over this. What a horrible tragedy. The mother must be absolutely distraught her daughter died in her place.
This is terrible. It would have been much better for the mother to just die and for her daughter to be alive.

It doesn’t matter what personal problems attackers have.
It’s a pretty miserable death. First - you are whipped so you’re in pain from that. Second your lungs start filling with liquid so in order to breathe you have to push up on your feet which are pinned to the cross - miserable and severe cramping sets in. Also, injuries to the feet make the whole body hurt. Third severe dehydration occurs, in spite of which, eventually you drown in your own fluids.
I’m tired of coddling crime. It is misplaced compassion.
