I understand that you are the in-house FR defender against blog pimps. I don’t feel this applies to pcottraux. He is providing his lessons in video form. I don’t see any indication he is stealing FR traffic to make money off of a monetized Youtube channel.

I have never made a dime from doing this.

I appreciate the support, but defending me to humblegunner is a lost cause. For the same reason I don't let myself get sucked into arguments with social media. When people are determined to be enraged, filled with hate, etc...it's useless to defend your reputation with them, because it only makes them double down. So I will just be ignoring him from now on (I only saw his first post...the second and third must have been really bad to get pulled like that).

The sad part is that I've told him I agree with his stance on blog pimps and clickbaiters, if what they post is mindless drivel or something clearly meant to generate ad revenue. But somehow that seems to infuriate him even more!

J. Vernon McGee did this with every book as he read Through The Bible on the radio.

I haven't seen that one, I'll have to look it up. My source is "The Untold Story of the New Testament" by Frank Viola. Unfortunately, I keep forgetting to say that in the videos. :-)

Like I told you in earlier threads, when you serve the Lord you will encounter opposition. And, unfortunately, it is sometimes from friends and professing Christians.

I hope you will include an overview and summary at the end of your series. Lots of good information.

Thanks, unlearner. In situations like this, the good people always outweigh the bad. I’m humbled by the number of people who came to my defense.

Besides, those kinds of attacks actually make me more determined to keep on. :)
