A Texas bank employee accused of being an accomplice to a violent armed robbery appeared in court Wednesday to face charges.
Shelby Wyse, 25, was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery on Tuesday for her alleged part in a brazen daytime attack on a woman carrying $75,000 in Houston.
The mother-of-one appeared before a judge Wednesday, wearing a Whitney Houston tank top with her hair scraped up in a top knot.
Court documents state that security footage captures Wyse watching the woman while she conducted her business at the bank.
She then allegedly sent a text message to her boyfriend Travoon Johnson, one of the men arrested in the robbery, immediately after the woman left with the large withdrawal.
'Presumably a go signal,' the indictment reads.

Not that it matters or is presumed suspicious. But why is an old lady withdrawing $75,000?
I initially assumed that she was a regular customer making some business transaction on a weekly basis as a target. But folks that are carrying that much money on a regular basis usually hire security or something, don’t they?
Then I figured, this bank teller was waiting on any customer that would make a good target. I’d like to know how the scheme worked.

If I withdrew 75K dollars, in cash, from a bank I would hire an armed guard to escort me out of the bank and to my next destination.
There should be a dollar limit on how much can you can withdraw at any one time.
I had a similar thought. But I have carried some large (not $75K large) sums of cash when either buying or selling a used car.
I have a friend that went to a dealership to buy a new van with a briefcase full of cash. He did get the van for the price he wanted. AND he let the dealership keep the briefcase. LOL. Between letting his 5, sleep deprived and hungry kids run around the showroom while they negotiated and the cash sitting on a desk for all to see, he swears he got a great deal on the new van in a very short amount of time.
