Bank Teller, 25, 'Who Texted her Boyfriend and his Accomplice a go Signal' after a Customer [Trunc]
Daily Mail (U.K.) ^ | August 23, 2018 | Daniel Roth

A Texas bank employee accused of being an accomplice to a violent armed robbery appeared in court Wednesday to face charges.

Shelby Wyse, 25, was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery on Tuesday for her alleged part in a brazen daytime attack on a woman carrying $75,000 in Houston.

The mother-of-one appeared before a judge Wednesday, wearing a Whitney Houston tank top with her hair scraped up in a top knot.

Court documents state that security footage captures Wyse watching the woman while she conducted her business at the bank.

She then allegedly sent a text message to her boyfriend Travoon Johnson, one of the men arrested in the robbery, immediately after the woman left with the large withdrawal.

'Presumably a go signal,' the indictment reads.

She looks like a girl I knew who said “Once you try black, you’ll never go back!”

That’s a heck of a way to choose a mate, isn’t it?

She’s 25 and has an 8 year old daughter?

Well, she will be separated from her daughter as she goes off to prison.

There should be a dollar limit on how much can you can withdraw at any one time.

There is. Sorta.

A CTR. A currency transaction report (CTR) is a report that U.S. financial institutions are required to file with FinCEN for each deposit, withdrawal, exchange of currency, or other payment or transfer, by, through, or to the financial institution which involves a transaction in currency of more than $10,000.

You can draw out all the cash you want to. It’s just that the gubmint is gonna know about it.

She's going to be charged with multiple felonies and she's smiling like she's going to the prom!

Give her a break!

She knows that not only will that mug shot be seen by millions on TV and on the internet in the next few days, the determination of her guilt or innocence here on Free Republic rests solely on the quality of her photograph.

I don't blame her for trying to give herself the best possible shot at a 'not guilty' from the FReeper jury.

I worked at bank for several years. One time I was sitting in the security office watching some video. I was sitting with our VP of security and I asked him about how often he caught employees trying to rip off the bank.

He laughed and said a couple of times a year. And after 30 years working there, and the banking being around more than 125 years, there were absolutely no new ways of trying to rob us. (This was before the internet.) They would always get caught. Always. (And the daily counts support that.)

There is nothing new under the sun. And if you think “your” idea for robbing a bank is new, forget it. Its been tried 100 times before.

I also learned that if you go into a strange town, rob a bank and don’t brandish a weapon or hurt anyone...and then take off and DON’T do it again, the chances of getting away with it are in your favor. But the same could be said of just about any crime.

That’s unusual. That he got a good deal with cash.

Dealers do not want cash sales. They make far more profit on a deal with the financing.

Long story short. If you have the cash to buy a car, great. But don’t bring it to the dealer.

Make your best and cheapest deal on the car. Then go to the finance office and sign the deal. If they want to screw you for a high interest loan, so what? Sign it.

Then pay it off in full with your cash a week later.

Please tell me what limit YOU want imposed on ME when accessing MY money.

I'd bet a bunch that the woman who withdrew that $75,000 in cash had to make prior arrangements with the bank to do so. That much cash has to be prepared. That's prolly how the perp knew what was happening.

““her boyfriend Travoon”

The extra “o” is for a double dose of oppressed by whitey.”

If you read elsewhere, I think you will find that it’s spelled TRAVONN! Either way, he’s just another useless Black criminal that the taxpayers are going to have to pay to keep in jail for a long time. Just wished that there had been an armed citizen around to fix the problem at the source.

Anyone who cashes out $75,000 out of a bank is living in a fantasy world.

The lady and her husband own a check cashing business. Kind of hard to cash checks without cash.
