Earth Set For a BIG FREEZE, Sun 'Totally Void' Of Sun Spots For Majority Of 2018
NN ^ | 08/30/18 | Paul Whitehead

Posted on 08/31/2018 6:34:33 AM PDT by ZeroToHero

Scientists now believe the earth is in for a big freeze due to the sun being totally void of sunspots for more than half of 2018. The sun has been completely free of sunspots for a total of 133 days this year, scientists are reporting.

More fossil fuels will fix that.

The sun spot cycles have been diminishing for decades and are well summarized here, http://www.sidc.be/silso/ssngraphics

The effect on climate will lag but we have certainly paused the warming trend and should begin to see cooling over the next few decades. The libs will latch on to the snowball Earth as a way to manipulate the masses forthwith. People don’t remember last month much less last generation.

As I understand it, sunspots are cooler areas on the surface of the sun. That's why they are darker. So how is their absence a predictor of solar cooling?

Silly poster. AGW will continue apace and when the Sun inevitably warms up again and Earth will then become hotter then previous solar maximums. The Sun’s cycles are natural occurrences and AGW is not. Solar minimums allow for the Earth to have a natural cooling which will now be offset by AGW. Mother Earth’s natural cycles should not be interfered with.

Cooling also has the beneficial effect of lowering the demand on Earth’s resources via reduction of anthropological bioforms. So you see AGW should be stopped no matter the Sun’s activity.

Man, I’m gunna fire up the BBQ and also let my lawn mower idle in the back yard, all day long.

That’ll fix it.

The entire sun rotates every 24 days from our perspective so I wouldnt take an astronomical amount of time to do it.

OK!! Everybody pay attention!
Lesson for today:
1. The sun is 1,300,000 times as big as the earth.
2. The sun is a giant nuclear furnace that controls the climates of all its planets.
3. The earth is one of the sun’s planets.
4. The earth is a speck in comparison to the size of the sun.
5. Inhabitants of the earth are less than specks.
Study Question: How do less-than-specks in congress plan to control the sun?

Snowboard? A few hours of trying and a mild concussion cured me of ever wanting to hit the half pipe on a snowboard - Always envy you snowboard guys and gals when I’m out skiing but I’ve finally gotten old enough to know better and old enough to care! Enjoy the winter!

And Farmer’s Almanac is predicting a cold and snowy winter for much of the U.S. this year. Temperatures will be below the winter normal. Looks like the climate change crowd gets it wrong again, but they don’t care.

With the cool spots come massive magnetic instability. The spots are cooler but the activity that they spawn over the rest of the surface of the sun increase the total energy output of which we receive an infinitesimally small amount that effects the liberal mind in extraordinary stupid ways.

Simplified: less sunspots indicates lower solar magnetic activity and a weaker solar wind. This allows more cosmic rays to reach Earth, which causes more clouds and an overall cooling effect.
