i didn’t read the article but are they saying they looked at all sides of the sun?
The entire sun rotates every 24 days from our perspective so I wouldnt take an astronomical amount of time to do it.
With the sun being as flat as the earth, made of molten steel, chrome and nickle it is highly magnetic. The dark spots magnetically attract to the negative side of the sun (the other side) which becomes more frigidly cold than dark side of Uranus. The concentration of extreme cold forces the heat to the visible side of our star and the planetary lens formed by the orbits of Mercury and Venus focus 99.98% of the extra energy directly at our planet. Unless we can figure out how to flip our planet over and let the sun shine on the bottom side.....we’re doomed.
