It was indeed a motley crew.. Clinton was shown constantly with his mouth hanging open - DUH! Lucky me - missed him speaking. I’m not sure he survived the appearance of Ariana Grande performing in front of him in that short outfit. Don’t think it made any difference to Jackson.
Couldn’t understand a word Jackson said except “Parkinsons” and I figured he was talking about himself. Never have understood him but it was worse than usual. I did see that he had trouble getting up at one point but I didn’t see him when he got up to speak.
Faith Hill sang “What a Friend We Have in Jesus” and one of the lamebrain commentators said, “I didn’t expect her to sing THAT song.” Clinton appeared to know the words to sing along, Sharpton stumbled through it PRETENDING to know the words, Jackson just stood there... I had to switch to C Span to get away from the constant saying nothing yakkers!
Hillary sat across the stage from the speakers - dressed in the same quilted black/grey top that she’s worn a hundred times, no makeup and no proof she’s seen a hairdresser this year nodding her head at everything she heard. Talk about Parkinsons….
I watched it on and off and when I turned it back on, the Clintons were gone so they must have gotten out of town as soon as Bill spoke.
Oh! Yes - Sharpton had to get a dig in about Trump. At a funeral - all class, that guy! He said people criticized him for his misspelling of “respect” this week and he thought the president needed to learn TO RESPECT!
