When you’ve really studied, with an open mind and some understanding of human nature, all the reports down through the decades, you can’t help but come to the conclusion that people have been seeing *something*.
At times, I’m sure they’ve seen our own aircraft before they were ‘released’ to the public. But other sightings are baffling.
I’m currently reading ‘The Close Encounters Man’, a biography of J. Allen Hynek by Mark O’Connell. It’s a very well-written and fascinating book - not just about Hynek’s involvement with UFO stuff, but also his professional work in astronomy and physics, and his work with weaponry during WWII.
I don’t think a man of that caliber was chasing ‘will-o’-wisps’.
Very good points. It is ignorant to dismiss everything seen as a hoax or photo shopping, etc.
I agree on Hynek. He was not a fool.
