Denial. Really stretching.
Oh my, your list shows a precious few, by some dogs almost all of whom are MUTTS, and/or part of a pack (which is very dangerous).
You proved nothing. What, 1 Lab-type mutt per year manages to kill someone?
Currently, the Lab is far and away the most popular dog. PBTs, despite all the do-gooder apologists, are combined still not actually that popular/populous. The % are FAR different.
Next, your Rotts, while 2nd in fatal attacks, are still far more popular than PBTs and have far fewer than PBTs in kills. Again, the % is far off. Rotts first shot to popularity - breaking into the top 10 after a meteoric rise - in the ‘80s.
German Shepherds (they are NOT “molassers”, BTW, not at all) have meanwhile been probably THE most popular breed world-wide for a century. They far outstrip PBTs in numbers as do their mutts. Yet, they account for barely any fatal attacks over the last few decades. Again, %.
You showed how poorly informed you are by claiming Rotts are more popular than Pitbulls
Thats very telling how well you keep up
Another detail that you missed was I was replying to a poster who mused how many folks have been killed by labs
Go back to pre mid 80s and see many folks were killed by pit-bulls
I know freepers love running on the fly daring not actually research before opening their pie holes
The figures I can easily find show 4.4 million pit bulls alive in the US as of 6/2018.
For German Shepherds I found 3.5 million in the US, but that’s registered dogs.

Anecdotally, in our more-or-less typical Midwestern USA region, I certainly run across at least as many PB as GS. But maybe there are lots of GS service dogs I would not see?
A lot more PB seem to be coming out of questionable situations / ownership. (1st article)
OT: I saw an absolutely huge GS recently at a local farm & feed supply store. It had to be 50% bigger than any other large / adult GS I’ve seen. (I’m over 60.) Is there a line being bred for exceptional size?
I would add, it’s just my “sense” of it (v. difficult to get data): I’ll bet not 1 in 10 pit bull (and dominant mixes) owners register them.
