Following weeks of pressure for Pope Francis to respond to accusations that he played a role in the cover-up of a Catholic Church pedophile ring, the pontiff finally spoke up on the scandal by referring to the victims of abuse as a "pack of wild dogs."
During Mass at the Vatican’s Sanctae Marthae guesthouse, the Pope raised the issue by likening the latest child abuse scandal to a biblical story where Jesus is driven out of town by a pack of wild dogs.

And what biblical story would that be?
‘Her (Jerusalem’s) princes (leaders) in the midst of her are roaring lions. Her judges are evening wild dogs (hyenas). They leave nothing until the next day’ (Zephaniah 3:3).
Now read it in context and see what the flavor is:

That’s not a “bible story” regarding Jesus. It’s prophecy.

As for motive, I think the author took a pretty good story (Francis implicitly comparing his accusers to a pack of wild dogs) and falsely turned it into a sensational one (Francis comparing child abuse victims to wild dogs) because outrage = clicks and max outrage = max clicks.
Either way, whether the victims are compared to wild dogs, or the whistleblowers are, it was an awful thing to say.
Also ironic, as in the First Century “Dog” was an epithet for foreigners, gentiles, and....dare I say it....homosexuals.

More and more it’s looking to me like Benedict was forced out by the lavender mafia so they could install their own guy - who far from being just this super loving guy who wants the whole world to live in harmony kumbaya style, is a radical leftist. Evidence appears to point to this agenda being the very reason Bergoglio is there to begin with - little else explains his stacking his entire inner circle with known scandal ridden non chaste men, as well as putting these individuals into powerful positions where they’d also be in a position to abuse. There is simply no way he didn’t know. Nobody rises the rungs as he did in any organization by being an idiot, and coming up through the Dirty War in Argentina, he would have to have been savvier than most to the importance of information gathering and secrecy.
We should pray for the conversion of all involved in the scandal.
Those with enormous egos may not like the idea that they need conversion...those that scream the loudest have the most to lose.
IMHO, this is the best way to clean up mess.
