Yes, though the damned Dewey and his followers ARE, indeed ensconced In Columbia Teacher's, this crap did NOT pick up much steam until after I finished all of my schooling, for which I am extremely grateful! Likewise, it really hadn't thoroughly infected ALL schools ( though it had begun to and colleges were getting quite bad ), when my progeny was going thorough all levels of school.

By the late '20s/'30s, only some out there/way out PRIVATE day schools were infected with this crap ( as well as with moronic Rousesauian garbage and other such insanity ) and no, colleges and universities were NOT and weren't until the late '60s.

And now, you've learned a even more concise, short version of my "nopardon's style Cliff's Notes" of the history of American education. :-)
