The NYT traitor may have been a student essay at USC

Or duped by a USC student, which is my theory. I ran the “essay” through http://Turnitin.com . It popped as a 100% match to a USC student essay, turned in w/out citation-making it an original essay-sept 5-overachiever! Archived & submitted to the repository w/in minutes of NYT

I can imagine it being a NY Times fake story....but here’s the thing, if they come to admit that...I don’t see how they can function as a legit newspaper anymore.

I’m just as likely to believe Trump himself wrote the piece.

Student could have easily uploaded into the turnitin library, then claimed to have a match.

Is anyone looking into Kellyanne Conway’s husband as the possible author?

Seems like he hates Trump with a passion and could be feeding on comments from Kellyanne when she comes home from work.

That is what the feeling was when the essay was first discovered. Must look at the date of the essay.

All they care about is their daily smear. When it’s proven false, it’s already in the bloodstream. They move on to the next one. These people just hired a bigot who wants white people dead or living underground. Nothing fazes them and they never face justice.

Add one more letter to “NYT” and you have “nyet” - which I believe to be the Russian word for “no”.

Very blunt and rude. Even for Russians.

This article was very quick to surface, specifically mentioning the NYT article?

And look at the 2nd article and bio of the writer.

We’re Watching an Antidemocratic Coup Unfold (David A. Graham propaganda)

https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2018/09/trump-mattis-kelly-new-york-times/569416/

David A. Graham: (Whence he came?) A Closer Look at a Newsweek ‘Reporter (7-15-2010)

https://www.breitbart.com/big-journalism/2010/07/15/david-a-graham-a-closer-look-at-a-newsweek-reporter/

Coincidence?

You tell me.

You would think, but its readership is very forgiving of fakery as long as its the service of “The Cause”.

They already have an out, kinda/sorta. The NYT is claiming they got the story through a trusted (but unnamed) intermediary.

I agree. Maybe I'm giving the New York Times too much credit here, but I don't think they would be that stupid. Lifting some student essay and printing it as an Op-Ed by an "insider" at the White House would be too easy to trace back to the real source. If they fabricated this piece (not outside the realm of possibility) they would do a better job of covering their tracks.

purely coincidence I’m sure, just like the lies and disinformation and interference the NYT ran for Hitler and Stalin for years.

Wouldn’t be surprised if it wasn’t an essay turned into Comey’s friend Daniel C. Richman, who is a law professor at Columbia, and who leaked his Trump interaction memos to the Slimes.

That’s what I was figuring: The “turnin” essay was copied FROM the NYTimes article, rather than the (implied) reverse. The only way the NYTimes could be spoofed is if there were a positive (verifiable) date-time group on the trunin article showing they had it BEFORE the release of the NYTimes to the public.

In fact, several days before. Editorials - particularly controversial editorials that high of importance - have to be submitted several days in advance.
