I read that while filming the popular series, “Gunsmoke”, in the 1950’s, they had to stop showing the “girls” going up the stairs (in the Long Branch Saloon) with guys, because of the “optics” of it.
That was about 30 years after “Stagecoach”.
Of course, I’m sure the censors were a bit more strict for TV, than for the movie theaters.
“Gunsmoke”
And then there was Miss “Kitty”.
I’ve heard the same thing; during the first couple of seasons, when Gunsmoke was a 30-minute program, cowboys and Miss Kitty’s girls were routinely seen climbing the stairs and coming back down again in scenes that took place in the “Long Branch.” Also heard that CBS censors never caught on; writers and producers eventually decided it was better to stop before the censors realized what was appearing on American TV screens.
Gunsmoke was a great show; still enjoy watching re-runs today. There have been reports that CBS is working on a re-boot and I’m hoping they cancel the project. You can’t improve on the original.

Stagecoach was 1939.
I think your math needs help.
