It may fail in both form and function, but it has that precious “Made in India” label and the assurance that no cows were killed or discomfitted in its production.

The spacesuits, which have been in the works for two years, are each equipped with an oxygen cylinder that can support an astronaut for an hour, local reports added. The first crewed flight in the program is expected to last between five and seven days and carry three astronauts into orbit.

Let's see. 7 days x 3 astronauts x 24 hours = 504 oxygen tanks for the mission. Or, if the tanks are built in, 504 spacesuits and they need to be really quick when they change.
