My sister loved fried bologna sandwiches...the more burnt the bologna...the better.

Quick, easy and cheap. I do mine with a bit of shredded lettuce, a slice of Kraft (generic, but genuine Velveeta-like process cheese food rather than the rubbery imitation stuff that doesn’t melt), mayo or honey mustard as the fancy strikes, but I don’t fry the baloney. I put everything between two slices of white bread and stick it between the clam shell halves of a George Foreman grill for 4 minutes to make a panino.

And as someone who likes a bit of heat, I sprinkle a bit of ground cayenne on the mayo before “grilling” it in the George Foreman gizmo.
