The Witcher was DOA as soon as they put out a casting call for an actress to play Ciri that explicitly excluded whites.
It only makes sense, after all, to cast a character out of a story based in Slavic folklore as black or perhaps Polynesian.
I know. She's supposed to be daughter of a slavic (sorta) king and an elf, with ashen hair and pale skin who looks like she could be the a daughter of the lead character, the Witcher, who is so pale he's called the white wolf.
But yeah, make her black. Because that whole storyline that formed the basis of the most successful game in the series isn't that important or anything, right?
