Your Week 3 college football schedule Watch Grid
SB Nation ^ | September 13, 2018 | Jason Kirk

Week 3’s gonna be a strange one in college football. America’s only truly national regular season has no way of avoiding disastrous weather — we simply have teams everywhere. For the third September in a row, the schedule is altered because of weather.

College football games are the least of our worries, but seeing as this is a weekly college football schedule post, it’s a thing to make note of. If you’re anywhere near the storm’s potential path (I kind of am myself), please be safe.

Let us start off with the watch because it will be so bad game of the week: Rutgers at Kansas. Kansas won its first road game in nine years while Rutgers took its annual pounding from THE Ohio State University. The 3:30 pm EST time slot has two games that will require use of the previous channel remote feature. Boise State travels to Stillwater to play the Oklahoma State. In the annual battle of SEC Tigers, LSU pays a visit to The Plains. The prime time game has THE Ohio State University, still without Urban Meyer, facing its toughest challenge to date as it travels to Jerry's World to play the Horned FrogsLizards.

When does Urban Liar return to the sideline?

Next week. TCU is the last game of Liar’s suspension.

Hawaii/Army will be interesting for a couple of reasons...
1. Hawaii’s QB - my darkhorse for the Heisman - entertaining to watch his talent.
vs.
2. Army’s triple option - as close to ‘old school’ football as it gets (any more).

Agree. My alma mater, Navy, played Hawaii week 1 in Hawaii. Navy has a similar offense to Army, and Hawaii stomped us. Tough to come from behind using the triple option, and Navy got into a deep hole in the 1st half. Army playing at home — maybe Hawaii will be the ones who are jetlagged. Good luck.

My two games this week are Lehigh vs. Navy and LSU vs. Auburn (my father was and two cousins are AU grads).

Go Navy! War Eagle!

So SB Nation gives Boise St and Oklahoma St a 'Watch This' but not Auburn vs. LSU?

Top ranked Alabama @ Ole Miss features two QBs from Hawaii. Most everyone is aware of Tua Tagovailoa who’s won the starting job at Bama. But Jordan Ta’amu is having an excellent year for Ole Miss. He sort of slipped up on me as he came through the JC ranks and I think won the QB at Ole Miss late last season.

Bama favord by 21.

He’ll be back to coaching in the fourth game. In the meantime I think OSU will have their hands full with TCU

A football powerhouse and winning tradition for 8 days.

Didn’t see that coming after KU’s first game. It just takes a few wins to start getting things turned around. Even if it was just Rutgers.

LSU WINS!!!!

Great game.

SEC West is brutal (well except for Arkansas)

There problem is that they have so few scholarship players. Lots of Jr. College transfers in previous years and not much depth. It is going to take a long time to correct.

I was there during the Bobby Douglas, John Zook, John Riggins era and a trip to the Orange Bowl so it has always been hard to watch these tough years. But as I always tell my friends from other conference schools: Round Ball is coming — keep your chortling in check.

Ole Miss and Bama may combine for a hundred points tonight.

Bama might score a hundred on their own.

This may very well be the best Bama team Saban has had yet. They’ve never had a QB like Tua, who is of Heisman-caliber.

LSU v. Auburn was a great game. Pretty impressive LSU came back from 11 down after giving up 21 unanswered points.
