In Feinstein and Harris' case, it's probably jealousy, since nobody acted appropriately or inappropriately towards them in High School. As far as Durbin, he probably thinks the #metoo movement is like anti-war protests in the 60s: a good place to pick up loose women.
In any case, when this letter is proven to be a hoax, I would hope that the three of them would have the decency to stand up in the front of the entire Senate and publicly apologize to Justice Kavanaugh. Or not. We are dealing with Demorat Senators here.
