Don't know what the problem is. The wife just called me. She works there.

Lockdown was lifted about 5 minutes ago. My wife doesn’t know if they found anything/anybody or not. They aren’t talking.
PS - I’m about 3.5 hours away.

The wife says they hauled off a group of students from the room across the hall from her.

Is anyone reporting this ? I can’t find anything so far. Seems to be a long time without a single news break on it. And, you won't find anything on this if the district can possibly keep it from getting out.

Always nice to see prison terminology “lockdown” used in schools.
Is the playground the recreation yard? Is detention “solitary” or the SHU now? Is the principal the warden?

Always nice to see prison terminology “lockdown” used in schools. Is the playground the recreation yard? Is detention “solitary” or the SHU now? Is the principal the warden? When you let trouble in the door, that's what happens.

They are not giving out details of the "prank".
No arrests have been reported.

Police have cleared two schools (Benbrook and Westpark) and are reporting that the incidents were part of a "prank". They are not giving out details of the "prank". No arrests have been reported. The wife is pretty p!ssed off over it. Benbrook is a school where teachers are not allowed to carry. All they did was put the school on lockdown and told the employees nothing else. She is a diagnostician on contract with them, and previously spent 10 years working in Texas juvenile justice facilities with violent offenders. But, she says she has never been so scared as she was this morning because FWISD put her in a position where she was trapped and not allowed to defend herself if there really was an active shooter. (Aside from her education credentials, she is also a Texas concealed-carry instructor.)
