I came off the Metro in Washington, DC two days ago and as I was making my way to the escalator to catch my commuter bus, I saw something that gave me a little bit of hope.
Ahead of me was a black female, short, in her 20's, and toting a backpack. She had a Velcro tag on her backpack; a black tag with white lettering. It read I CARRY A GUN BECAUSE A COP IS TOO HEAVY. I got her attention and said I liked it. She laughed and said thank you. I then said I'm surprised you haven't been stopped by the District police. She said, not yet.
I like to think, that little by little, people are starting to understand that the government we have - from the local level to the federal leviathan - is not here to protect the citizens but to enslave them.
Mrs Afterguard and I are both from Minnesota, which does not accept the CW permits we have from the state we currently live in... We can pretty much drive from here to Minnesota thru states that have reciprocity. Once we get there we are unarmed. We don’t go there anymore.
Good on her. Only thing is, she better get the ammo registered.
The Founding Fathers were geniuses.
I have the same attitude re the TSA nazis > if I can't drive there, I won't go there.
Please tell me she was hot too....
Yes, until D.C. leftists get their next brainwave about how to unsettle it.
Old automotive batteries.
Melt them down, cool the lead.
Melt the lead down a second time and get it really hot, skim off the impurities and cast into ingots.
Good quality, hard lead.
Good for casting into bullets.
Kind of hard to run a factory churning out a couple of million rounds a week that way.
