The woman accusing Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault came forward with her explosive allegations on Sunday, saying the supposed attack "derailed me substantially for four or five years" and claiming that the episode rendered her "unable to have healthy relationships with men."
The woman, Christine Ford, is a professor at Palo Alto University, according to The Washington Post, which published her account on Sunday. Her decision to go public caps a whirlwhind week that began when Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., sent shockwaves through Washington by releasing a statement saying she turned over information about Kavanaugh from an anonymous accuser to the FBI.
Ford, a 51-year-old registered Democrat who has published in academic journals and trains students in clinical psychology, described the alleged incident on Sunday, saying it occurred at a Maryland house gathering. Ford claimed she headed upstairs to a bathroom when she was suddenly pushed onto a bed, as rock-and-roll music blared.

News Flash for ya: women can and do lie, ya know.
It was that she first told her husband the details when they were in therapy.
Of course she could have made the whole thing up.
Or it could have happened and then years later when Kavanaugh's name comes up in the news, she automatically "remembers" it was him.
Or she decides to use the confused memory to smear an innocent man for political reasons.
But if the article is to be believed, this wasn't one of those cases where someone suddenly "remembered" something in therapy that she had no knowledge of before.
And hell, there’s not even any proof that Kavanaugh was even THERE. She doesn’t recall the date, changed her story from four guys to two, never named Kavanaugh until all-of-a-sudden.... and so on.

If it’s true that Kavanaugh’s name isn’t mentioned in the therapist’s notes in 2012, then her story has zero credibility. In fact, that would explain why the FBI was apparently so dismissive of her allegation. As a lawyer once told me when we were preparing him to question a witness in a civil lawsuit ... “If this witness gives explicit details today about an event that occurred ten years ago ... while the records from her files clearly indicate that she had no recollection of these details five years ago ... then she will have no credibility as a witness.”

The entire story seems to be fabricated in the manner of Lena Dunham describing her imaginary sexual assault at Oberlin College.

The way out here is not to attack her, but just make the obvious case it is irrelevant. They were drunk kids, she misinterpreted and/or misremembered.

A therapist who can’t take accurate notes while talking to a client about a possible crime should lose his license. I doubt that the therapist wrote this down differently from what she said. If you check out her Prof ratings, by the way, she is not well spoken of.

Yes it frightened me. I went home. I never forgot about it. I moved on. Married. 4 kids. 4 year degree. Couple of years from retirement now. Smh.
