The woman accusing Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault came forward with her explosive allegations on Sunday, saying the supposed attack "derailed me substantially for four or five years" and claiming that the episode rendered her "unable to have healthy relationships with men."
The woman, Christine Ford, is a professor at Palo Alto University, according to The Washington Post, which published her account on Sunday. Her decision to go public caps a whirlwhind week that began when Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., sent shockwaves through Washington by releasing a statement saying she turned over information about Kavanaugh from an anonymous accuser to the FBI.
Ford, a 51-year-old registered Democrat who has published in academic journals and trains students in clinical psychology, described the alleged incident on Sunday, saying it occurred at a Maryland house gathering. Ford claimed she headed upstairs to a bathroom when she was suddenly pushed onto a bed, as rock-and-roll music blared.

This the trap, if, now that her name is known, you get someone else able to say there was a party that they both attended, then it tends to support her, and undermine him, even though it says nothing about the actual facts in the bedroom.

I'm responding to the people in this thread who are calling her a liar, and saying we should go after her. I agree with you that dismissed and ignored is the absolute best approach. The best response is, "I have better things to do than delve into the alleged events at high school pool party 35 years ago."

Look at all the false rape accusations on college campuses. After sex and brunch, he doesn’t answer a text, and suddenly he is a rapist. That is why the cops throw those cases out by the truckload.

Everyone who knows this guy says NO. Usually these guys, like Bill Clinton eat grapes in bunches, and there are dozens of real victims. Women would be coming forth, especially in this environment where they would be declared heroes.
This one stood alone, and likely is mistaken. They crawled up Kavanuagh’s backside with a hedge clipper and didn’t find so much of a twig. If there were more of these so called events you would have damn well heard about them. I never would have surfaced this, and Feinstein is a coward for doing it. It is even worse than Anita Hill, who also should not have seen the light of day.
I would schedule the vote for Thursday, let them cry about it.
