My supermarket sells stamps at the customer service counter.
*********
Interesting to go into Market that has a service counter that handles wire transfers.
On Th-Fr you’ll see a lot of non citizens cashing checks and sending money south of
the border. May not be that way in your area but it is in a lot of places.
I thought it was a joke.
They must never go to the post office or grocery store - stamps are advertised at both.
Give me a damn break.
You can buy stamps at most grocery stores.
There actually has been discussion here on FR that ALL the schools in the USA may have to change their analog classroom clocks over to digital.
I cannot imagine a more assinine expenditure for any school district.
Wal-Mart sells stamps at every check stand.
Going to be interesting for these kids when they have to SIGN a purchase agreement for a car—or a mortgage—or a marriage license, etc.
Future court cases that require handwriting experts will have a hard time.
A dial phone is a foreign concept also.”””
I got raised with a crank telephone & a 20 party line.
i was out once with my stepgrand and forgot my watch. I said to myself- what time is it. She stood up and yelled “does anybody have a cellphone? we need to know the time!”

They could buy them online and have them shipped to their dorm room (or wherever).

I hadn’t thought about aeronautical points of reference, good point.
If you are a college student and cant figure out how to get a postage stamp... Im glad your vote will not be counted. You are officially too stupid to have your choice recorded.
