I don’t anything about this opponent of Manchin’s, but he looks creepy. I hope he does better on tv.

He’s in a dead heat with Manchin so something is going on i.e. voters are restless. Trump needs to put Manchin in a vise, where he thinks the only way to save his seat is be a “yes” vote on Kav.

Public Opinion Strategies, conducting [a] poll for the Judicial Crisis Network, called 722 West Virginia voters Thursday evening and 58 percent supported the confirmation of Kavanaugh, 28 percent did not. Among Republicans, the support is 81 percent in favor while 45 percent of Democrats polled are against the confirmation and 42 percent in favor. The Public Opinion Strategies poll also shows more women, 52 percent, found Kavanaugh more believable than Ford, 36 percent.

I’m surprised at the 42% of Dems in favor - not an insignificant number. A “yes” vote won’t hurt him with women, and all the politicians seem terrified of “the women”. So, get him to a ‘yes’ vote & then continue on to vote him out of office. His seat appears to be in play which is a surprise - boy, wouldn’t that be a sweet flip D to R? Not counting chickens before they hatch, however.
Screw that - he needs to be defeated because even if he votes yes on Kav, he will slink back under Chuckie's desk and we need a few seats to offset Murkowski and Collins.
