guys the CDC is not a deep state actor. The stats back them up, and lives are at stake. Our pediatrician is incredibly bright (former Air Force doc) - 30+ years experience, and he says the stats indicate that the flu vaccine saves tens of thousands of lives each year. Last year the guy I went to the prom with lost his nephew, age 24, fit guy who was a soldier, to the flu.
It was just heartbreaking.
Some 90% of the flu deaths are people who did NOT get a vaccination.
Just do it - it could save your life.

Just for the record, just because is ‘incredibly bright’, does not mean they has moral fiber or even wisdom.
Lots of diabolical people are considered incredibly smart, but they are also about as sinister as one can get. History is full of them.

She was a retired CDC scientist who studied fun stuff like Ebola and the other hemorrhagic fevers. In fact we learned from her that fruit bats would be the reservoir for Ebola, long before that fact hit the news wires.
Anyway influenza was also one of her interests. It may have been her major interest. She was following and mapping any reported outbreaks.
She told us that recombinant animal/human flus are extremely dangerous, capable of inflicting a near-extinction event. So when you hear “avian flu” or “swine flu” pay attention, those are the flus that she was warning about.
The 1918 Flu was one such flu. It likely started in rural western Kansas and spread across the globe with our soldiers. It killed more people than World War One.
Hybrid flus leverage your immune system against you, and unlike most normal flus they will kill the young and strong. The cytokine storm it stimulates in your bloodstream can drown you in your own antibodies, or otherwise shut down your organs, and kill you in just hours.
So people can reject vaccines and take their chances if they want. Pretty sure Mother Abigail wouldn’t recommend that route.
The flu is absolutely deadly. Your post reminded me of the great influenza pandemic of 1918-19, often called the Spanish flu, caused about 50 million deaths worldwide. In fact, it may have killed between 3% and 6% of the global population. More American soldiers, sailors, and Marines died from influenza during WWI than died on the battlefield.
Was he no longer a soldier? My soldiers, Marine, and sailor all had flu shots as soon as they were available last year. It was mandatory. My soldiers both got the flu last year.
Correct. I worked for them as a Federal Contractor for seven years, and while I saw some of the typical government waste, I saw nothing Deep Statelike. In fact, when Obama demanded the CDC break the law and issue a firearms injury-and-morbidity report, it almost seemed like the report was issued ON PURPOSE in a way that it could not be used for anti-gun propaganda. It makes some sense just on geography: Much of the CDC is located in Atlanta, GA... and Georgia is a very pro-gun state.
These are not the bad guys.
