You need a good ad blocker my FRiend.
Maybe World Net Daily is sabotaging World Net Daily.
Yeah a good adblocker will help. What browser do you use?
Talk to the WND webmaster or whomever designed that site - Google had nothing to do with it. Someone chose to place all those inane things. for want of a better word, on the site - but not Google. Google’s stuff is bloated and tracks most everything, however, none of that garbage is needed for anything other than analytics, and click revenue.
The bloat, the slowdown, and so on is all on WND.
If your connection is really slow then another option is to try the mobile site. In the address bar just replace “WWW” with “MOBILE”.
That being said, I have a 5mbps connection and a browser with an ad blocker and didn’t have any issues.
Now I just tried it with uBlock turned of and it took about 3 seconds. Either your connection is too slow or your computer has problems.
Professional conservatives have the answer to this troubling censorship; build your own Google, Facebook and Twitter. Of course their answer is insane, but they believe it.
I use Firefox and adblock and adblock plus.
You can right click on any ad and block. Soon the pages will load as the ads are being blocked. If the site comes up asking to unblock then you can either do so for that page or go elsewhere. I go elsewhere many times.
I use uBlock Origin ad blocker and I think they have a version for most browsers.
The site loads nice and fast for me and uBlock says it’s blocking 24 items and says that’s about 18% taken off the size of the page. If I turn off uBlock, the page takes 5-6 seconds to fully load.
I’ve got DSL that is currently running at a download speed of 8.42 Mbps. You can go to http://speedtest.net/ to check your speed.
The site owner(s) are the ones making the decision to load the site up with google ads. Google isn’t maliciously placing them there.
If you’ve got other pages popping up on or popping under wnd, then you most likely have malware. If so, there’s a couple of good, free removal tools.
malwarebytes (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malwarebytes) - (https://www.malwarebytes.com/)
super-anti-spyware (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SUPERAntiSpyware) - (http://www.superantispyware.com/)
If you think Google is the source of your trouble, try viewing WND with another browser. Don’t use Chrome. Myself, I prefer Opera most of the time.
