I’m currently reading “12 Rules.” About halfway through. I mostly like and agree with a lot of what he says. He writes in an appealing way, and I often find myself chuckling at a lot of what he says.
But, I don’t agree with everything he says, and although I think he’s a pretty insightful guy, and even not without wisdom, I don’t mistake him for a prophet of God or his writing for Sacred Scripture.
In fact, I feel a little sorry for him. He has great respect for Jesus, for the Bible, for the things of God. He seems “very close to the Kingdom.” But he seems unable to take that final step, the seemingly blind leap, to throw Himself into the great I Am.
should be “... throw himself into the great I Am.”

I checked his Twitter and it appears he did somewhat of a retraction 4 hours later.

Peterson knows exactly what it is like to be dragged through the mud and have your character destroyed by lefties. He is a strong promoter of Christian values.

P.S. If I wanted to read a twit’s tweets, I’d go there.
I wonder if all the limelight is changing him. The constant hairstyle changes and facial hair one week and none the next seems weird for someone who’s supposed to be so grounded.
That pretty much sums up how I see him.
I’m certainly not going to go to him for advice on doing a DIY clutch replacement in my car. :)
