Meh. Allen is George W Bush conservatism with a bunch of libs throwing tantrums and being placated. My wife and I watch all the first runs but will pass on more.
The funniest bit of the first episode (it showed up free on the Roku last night) was the opening, where they were talking about trying to find an unnamed show (obvious self-reference). Not one laugh for the rest that I saw (suddenly it wanted a profile set up to contiinue watching). I appreciated that the leftists are portrayed realistically (the leftie sister can't spell and doesn't care, the son in law is a humorless drone), whereas in every other show on TV everyone who isn't a leftist is a cardboard cutout version of a character, and is just there for use as a dartboard.
