Fox News on the ground at the protests reported they are swelling at a huge rate. Capital Police have shut down the capital because they have been working 20 hour shifts and just can't handle it. (Why not call in other police? Unknown.) The protesters are gathering in small groups of a few hundred in parks. There protest leaders are enraging them with personal stories of sexual assault from the crowd mixed in with repeating debunked Kavanaugh accusations.

I would say the National Guard needs to be called in.

The interior of the capital should be what it was designed to be: A forum for the elected representatives of the people to debate and make law. It is not to be turned over to the mob rule of screaming protesters. If long work hours by the capital police provide that excuse, so be it.
