It sounds like a statement we might expect from Kagen or Sotomayor but not a man touted as a staunch constitutionalist.
Does he see it as his job as a Supreme Court Justice to ignore fairness and equal treatment in order to address what he sees as the past failings of our culture?
Imagine the uproar if he announced that he wanted an all male staff because there are now more females graduating from college.
Why not just bring in the best and brightest without regard to plumbing, skin color, etc.
So much for balance and diverse viewpoints.

Pool was hopeful wed get a visit from the president today in the press cabin, but you cant win em all.
The flight to JBA was totally uneventful. We were wheels down at 4:35 pm.

President Trump deplaned AF1 at 4:55 after an unexplained delay on the tarmac following arrival. He waved at pool at the bottom of the stairs but did not come over to chat. He’s on his way back to the WH.
Kellyanne Conway, Jared Kushner, Stephen Miller, John Kelly et al followed him.
The pool saw Rod Rosenstein deplane from the tail before the president departed from the front exit. He ignored questions as he walked with Hogan Gidley about his meeting with the president.
It’s been an honor and a pleasure....back to you in-town pool.
