This is a Nomination from one group and perhaps there are other nominations as well? Hopefully she won’t actually received the award.

Not unexpected from UNC as the students toppled
Silent Sam earlier this year.

THAT is what I am hoping.

The Board of Governors, however, is dealing with the Silent Sam statue controversy. They may view this “award” as a chance to give some pablum to the drooling critics of their Board.

You’re right. The only positive thing about the toppling of Silent Sam is that the people arrested did not actually attend UNC if memory serves.

UNC 1975. Donated every year in increasing amounts until 2001. Gave once since then. Never again.

Good to know. Wish we could do twitter/FB to spread the word among UNC Alums. I don’t do Twitter or FB so I can’t help in that way. But I can write a letter to the UNC Board of Governors.....that is in the works.

Wiki says this:

UNCheat....maybe they should just give her one of their degrees in African American studies. She's put in as much time on the degree as the players have!

The Carolina way....LOL!!!!

I doubt she will be traveling anywhere anytime soon. Her life is really in danger now from the DEMS.
