From 6/23/2014:

"It is frustrating, because who wants to grow up and follow their parents? Clinton said of her work at the foundation. "I've tried really hard to care about things that were very different from my parents. I was curious if I could care about [money] on some fundamental level, and I couldn't. That wasn't the metric of success I wanted in my life. I've talked about this to my friends who are doctors and whose parents are doctors, or who are lawyers and their parents are lawyers. It's a funny thing to realise I feel called to this work both as a daughter and also as someone who believes I have contributions to make." Chelsea Clinton

What a coincidence.
Politicians and their children never ever get rich....after demonstrating absolutely no talent in the fields of business or science.
Wonder how that happened?

She sounds like a 12 year old.

she has her mother’s pension for insider trading...

but i believe she is clueless as to the inappropriateness to which she has made money... she just thinks this is what happens, and if you are a clinton, it does.

Chelsea tried to care about money. She just couldn’t.

I shake my head at those who still believe in the Clinton gang.

Let’s be honest here. Has Chelsea Clinton ever had, you know, a real job?

I mean a job that was handed to her because of the connection to her parents? You know, a job she actually had to interview and compete for based upon her experience, value, and talent? Has Chelsea Clinton ever, in her young life, worked a minimum wage job, or even an entry level job?

The old adage that Chelsea was born on third base and thinks she hit a triple applies here. Chelsea is a product of the swamp and doesn’t possess the self awareness to understand this.

I bought 500 shares back on 4/18/2016, at $46.68, as part of a portfolio buy, and have done quite nicely with it.

I wonder if the NYTimes will do a story about how her parents gave her more money than she was admitting and used fraud and access to powerful people to increase her wealth

How strange and wonderful that money somehow travels at warp speed into the Clintons’ bank accounts.

Did her husband use the money he lost for other people to invest in the stock for her?

This IAC gig isn't even her job. She "sits on their board" - in other words, she goes to three meetings a year and they hand her this pile of cash. Just so they can have a "Clinton" on their board which buys them some influence with mobsters in the Clinton circle.

Her "real job" is as the vice chair of the Clinton Foundation. I'm sure she's worried about her productivity on that job and faces some searing annual reviews where she has to justify her position.

In addition to a generous salary from the non-profit, the Clinton Foundation job also allows her to use Foundation funds to pay for all her travel, hotels, restaurants, parties, office rent, health care, utilities - every single bill she has, I'm sure.

My new investment strategy: Invest in what the Clintons invest in; it’ll rigged for a big win.

Chelsea’s main contribution to date has been her role as the cure for priapism. Really, we should honor her for this.

My, what an accomplished young woman!! She’s a real example of girl power achievement!! She came out of college and got a job making $600,000 per year. Now she has a $6 million portfolio due to shrewd investment (she must get her investment insight from her mother!). Is there anything she can’t do???
