No. 9. Good culling out of the “who”, not the rock group. John Prine is folk music mainly. Saw him in the 70’s and he was good.
Janet Jackson - “Escapade” was a really good song. Otherwise, don’t remember anything else worth remembering.
Rage Against the Machine - more like communists rage against capitalism which is making them very rich. Isn’t that Tom Morriello? He wears a cap with a communist star on it or on his coat. Upper Deck has him on two special cards with his commie stuff. Who does he think he is, Michael Stipe?
Devo? - Whip It, the national theme song of the Sado-Maschocist crowd. I actually recently heard another song of theirs that was pretty good. I no idea what it’s title was.
Kraftwerk? Is that where they make Kraft Cheese, or an old Nazi war factory?
Stevie Nicks - as part of Fleetwood Mac, she was great (saw them in 1977). By herself, not so great. Christie McVie was pretty good on her own.
The Cure? Who?
Radiohead? Who?
Todd Rundgren - a couple catchy tunes but R&R Hall of Fame, questionable
I’d take Roxette of Roxy Music who I never heard of.
Slime Pickens this year.
