Jamie's got a gun in the latest "Halloween" reboot.
In the 11th installment of the horror film series, Jamie Lee Curtis's character, Laurie Strode, is seen wielding firearms in her quest to kill the film's legendary villain, Michael Myers.
At one point, she shoots him as he's standing in front of a window.
But Curtis’s on-screen actions stand in contrast to her real-life persona as an advocate for gun control -- one of several Hollywood actors who use firearms in their films while preaching against them away from the set.
In light of several high-profile mass shootings, Curtis has voiced her support for gun reform legislation. But she's also appeared in films such as "True Lies," "Virus," "Halloween II" and "Blue Steel" where she uses firearms multiple times.

It's not funny, it's really sad how hypocritical they all are. They are ecstatic to make millions off the portrayal of sexual violence and almost comical extreme gun violence, sending one message to their audience and then decry guns as animate, evil devices that force their will onto innocents forcing them to commit horrendous crimes.
And as you point out they arm themselves and use armed security, why? Because of the kind of gun culture they promote in their abnormally violent films and portrayals.
Liberals, always believe that everyone but them are incapable of responsible gun ownership and use.
The only legitimate gun control is putting all your rounds inside the ten ring.

BLASTED Samsung Korean "English spell check"!
Man I hate using Android tablets to post. You type one thing and their RANCID "spell check" program turns what you wrote into something else, without your realizing it so that you literally have to REREAD EVERYTHING YOU TYPED just to make sure Samsung's Korean "English spell check" program didn't screw up what you wrote. ...Groan.
Cameron is overrated, but I love True Lies! Probably his only movie with an original idea. And it’s very funny.
