I like Floyd Allen...
2 levels of Justice have a long history.
Wow.
You tube links are useless, got any info about this?
In 1966 an SR-71 "Blackbird" disintegrated at 78,000 feet. The pilot's first thought was "No one could live through what just happened. Therefore, I must be dead."
Sounds like Floyd Allen (who might be my relative on my mom’s side) was a sociopath.

WOW Hillsville, never know what turnoff down Memory Lane is down the road.
Back in the ‘70’s knew a few guys from Hillsville, one a good friend and the others just acquaintances. I met the father & brother of one acquaintance when they traveled to Northern Virginia for a visit. In suffix to his name, the father introduced himself as “ ... from Hillsville, where the Hillsville Massacre occurred”. I’d never heard of it but being more than familiar with the history of Franklin & Henry Counties Virginia, such introduction still took me back a step. Mountain folk are good people but I’d forgotten the real deal still existed...at least back in my time.
I made a few trips to Hillsville. Once off I-81, whatever the mileage to Hillsville, double any flat land drive time. Forty miles-per-hour will about top end your speed without getting sideways in the turns.
