Just eat less (calorie wise) than you used to any time you eat. And exercise a bit more. Worked well all thru the famines and torture and prison camps of history. Did you ever see a fat person for a very long during a time of famine?
No hormone changes will overcome no calories.
Low carb for me works great. The first month I was only able to shed about 5 pounds because I kept sneaking carbs such as crackers due to my carb cravings. Then in early July I started taking Crave Stop which completely eliminated those cravings and I haven't sneaked carbs since then.
Except that people have been trying low calorie, low fat diets FOREVER, and do NOT have the success of the low carb diet, especially the keto diet.
