Meghan is not the first black in the royal family.

This from when King George III first married Sophia Charlotte of Mecklenberg-Strelitz, a black Portuguese Moor.

An older aged Queen Charlotte.

Many portraits of Charlotte are done with lighter skin.

Queen Charlotte's granddaughter Queen Victoria.

Queen Victoria with her daughters and granddaughters. The dark skinned granddaughter is from Victoria's daughter, Viktoria, Empress of Prussia and Frederick III, Emperor.
