The infamous owner of The Bunny Ranch brothel has passed away.
Dennis Hof died on Tuesday at the age of 72 his campaign manager revealed, just a few weeks before he was set to compete in the general election for a seat in the House of Representatives and hours after a campaign rally.
He was at the Love Ranch South in Crystal at the time of his death and the Nye County Sheriff's Office is on the scene and investigating Hof's death.
His chief of staff Zach Hames told DailyMail.com: 'We are all pretty much devastated. Last night he was fine at the campaign rally.
'Ron Jeremy went to wake up Dennis about 11am this morning and found him dead in his bed. He must have died in his sleep.'
Hours prior the two men had been celebrating Hof's birthday with friends including Heidi Fleiss.

He was running for a legislative seat as a Republican. the only other candidate on the ballot is a Democrat.

There are worse ways to go.
When I visited Las Vegas in 1999, I was told that one main reason Vegas kept the ban on prostitution was that the people running the casinos wanted the men to bring their wives so they’d gamble as well. And I also remember reading the ads for the Whorehouse Museum that was about an hour or so northwest of the city but then was also told it was a jip and not really worth the drive up there to go see it, lol.
