SPRING, Texas - Video of a Texas woman leaving a 2-year-old child alone at a doorstep has gone viral, with the explanation drawing even more anger.

The child's father says the boy was dropped off Wednesday night by a family friend, but the woman left the child at the wrong house, KPRC reports.

The surveillance video shows the woman running to the front door of the Houston-area home with the boy, ringing the doorbell and then running off to her car.

The woman who owned the house found the boy at her door and called 911 to alert authorities.

Watched the video earlier. Incredible. Seems like a lot of poor parenting and adulting. What was the woman thinking to drop the kid off and drive off without knowing if anyone home, at right address, and if the kid would wait?

"...baby on doorstep..."

She could do this at most police stations and firehouses without any legal ramifications and no questions asked.
Some states even have climate-controlled anonymous baby dropboxes for unwanted infants. Remarkable yet true.

Omg. Like we can’t get anymore incensed at the sheer immorality of some humans.

Thats what I initially thought, but this was more of a friend watching the kid and dropping off on the wrong doorstep.

Watched the video - some “family friend”... she was in such a hurry I’m surprised she didn’t shove the kid out of her moving car. What in the world.

It learned the lesson from the abortion crowd. After all, if it’s OK to kill a born baby, then it’s OK to leave a baby on a doorstep. And no one will picket your house.

The penalties for abandoning a dog are worse than for a baby. And you’ll have activists picketing your house.

The left HAS succeeded in destroying our collective values.

Listen. Don’t have unprotected sex until one parent or grandparent can give up all their free time to actually be with the child that might result. It’s not difficult.

Well, this is a “friend” who was babysitting, until her union shift was over and she just dumped everything on the dot.

Not really parents’ fault, except their poor choice of friends.

But to the point: avoid ANY such behavior/gratification until dutifully married.

All this garbage would clean up real fast.

Give her a break. She had a hot date with an aspiring rap artist.

Well, she could have killed the kid before he was born, so what’s the problem?

Dear Lord, the kid could have been left where someone abused or killed him instead of calling the police.

When you can be with your children you don’t need to drop them with “friends” or especially “the boyfriend”. Mom dad or grandma are best, a loving trusted caregiver next best

Do you even understand what happened here? No, by your response you are clueless. Read the story!
