The man accused of burying the body of a Wayne County mother was in court Thursday.
Many question if he killed Selena Hidalgo-Calderon and her 1-year-old son, Owen.
Right now, Alberto Reyes is only charged with tampering with evidence. He appeared in Wayne County Court around 1:15 p.m. for what's referred to as a Huntley hearing, to determine if statements Reyes gave to investigators can be used in a trial.

Sure, I know if I came across the bodies of a woman and child my first thought would be, “Golly, I better drag them into the woods and give them a proper burial”.
None of the three of them should have been in the US, to begin with.
Were none of them here illegally, none of this would have happened.
What is even more disgusting is that we are going to be paying his living expenses for the rest of his life. He should be facing the death penalty, and upon conviction have the sentence carried out expeditiously.
Put him in Gitmo and tell the other prisoners he’s Jewish.
I've been looking ahead (way ahead I hope) at the prices of funeral homes, caskets, burial plots, charges for opening and closing a grave, etc. and, and, and they're expensive! I'll find the money somehow, but …
Mind you, he probably did kill them but I think the cops are doing the right thing to go a little slow here.
The libs will want to keep him because he obviously has digging skills.
