Along with its other faults, Obamacare was a showcase for the mass incompetence of the software industry. Software disasters in every government department, every private company and every quasi-governmental institution associated with it. I'm surprised more people haven't raked the industry over the coals because of this.

You can’t blame an entire industry for the Obamacare software failures. As a avionics software engineer, there is still a lot of fantastic programming going on. Just the Obamacare idiots didn’t hire those people. I don’t think they were looking for the cheapest since liberals aren’t very concerned with other people’s money, but they probably hired some cronies that were set to make a mint off the contract and provided substandard coding.
