Ten years is a bit steep.But it's well understood by anyone with an IQ greater than 70 that an act that could get you a stern lecture in Britain or the US can get you hanged in SE Asia.They don't fool around there.

On my first trip to Singapore the cab driver who took me to my hotel told me about a law there which can get you jail time for insulting a woman.I don't know why he thought that *I* could benefit from such a warning...I guess I just look like the devious type! ;-)

I know everyone is having fun with this, and they should not have put graffiti on the wall, and the kids are complete idiots. I agree on all accounts. But, 10 years is way way too high a pice to pay for that crime. I’m just saying....it’s way out of proportion. I hope the respective governments step in and help them out.....pay super heavy fines (25 K each) and blow out of there....type deal. 10 years....thats cruel. People....don’t loose your sence of humanity.
