“When I was a kid, it seemed people were much more rambunctious watching movies.”
Back in college they played Rocky Horror every Fri and Sat at midnight at the theatre on bar row. The theatre was always full of drunks. Many even had the book telling the audience how to react and what to chant when. We took our newspapers, super soakers, boxes of rice and it was a blast.
I do not envy the weekend cleanup crew.
My old friend from long ago, Sal Piro, started the Rocky Horror Show stuff. I loathed that from the beginning.
I’m simply referring to jokes audiences made during bad movies - not orchestrated stuff like that.
