ABCs The Conners in Week 2 drew 7.9 million total viewers and a 1.7 demo rating, dropping 25 and 29 percent from its launch and placing a distant second in the demo among non-sports programming (behind NBCs This Is Us).
Leading out of that, The Kids Are Alright (5.1 mil/1.1) was down 21 percent, black-ish (3.8 mil/0.9) dipped one tenth, and Splitting Up Together (2.9 mil/0.7) and The Rookie (4.4 mil/0.8) each slipped two tenths.
Foxs coverage of the World Series opener is currently reporting 12.6 mil and a 3.4, up 10 and 17 percent from the fast nationals for last years Game 1.
THE CW | The Flash (1.82 mil/0.7) was steady, Black Lightning (1.23 mil/0.4) ticked up.
NBC | The Voice (8.3 mil/1.6) slipped two tenths week-to-week, This Is Us (8.4 mil/2.1) dipped a tenth but led the night in the demo, and New Amsterdam (6.4 mil/1.3) ticked up.
Much more to come

Pobre Dodgeritos. Boston esta muy frio, y, ay yi i el Monster Verde!
I saw an add for the show that said it was the “Top” new show.
We’ll see how long they can make that claim.
None of the faces on that ad make me want to add it to my DVR.
I don’t have cable TV..but tee hee.
The idea of Rosanne without Roseanne was never a good idea. ABC may stubbornly keep it around to prove a point, but the ratings will continue to drop. To be blunt, no one cares about any character in that show other than the characters’ interaction with Roseanne. John Goodman has star power, but not enough to carry a show himself.
I am surprised that the World Series was up. I have it on the best authority (NFL commentary) that sports viewing is down and that’s the only reason NFL viewing is down. I wonder if there could be another issue with the NFL.
Folks watched the first episode out of curiosity of how they were going to kill Roseanne...
Expect the ratings to continue to tank.
It may survive, but it will never be what it was... but my guess is, if it gets a second season, it will be lucky.
LOL. Nobody wants to watch Roseanne without Roseanne??? Who would have believed it??
Sarcasm.......
Three dollars. Not bad.
Even in today’s money it wouldn’t be much more than $300, yes?
I only saw a 30 second ad for the show. The cast, especially John Goodman, looked like an ad on why to avoid plastic surgery.
Speaking of Roseanne Barr.....http://www.lerctr.org/~transit/healy/redglare.wav
The Conners will continue to drop, as the curiosity of what happened
to Roseanne has come and gone.
Look for continued drop in ratings.
but the numbers are better than other ABC shows
“Again, #TheConners rating has something for all of the crazy!
Roseanne Barr fans: 0.7 drop!
Roseanne Barr anti-fans: still ABC’s highest rated show!
Viva La Crazy!”

Other great examples of similar winning strategies:
* The Huxtables
* The Taylors
* The (WatchaTalkingAbout) Willis Show
Or Family Matters....which might as well have had the family mysteriously vanish in a plane crash after season 3.
Keep in mind that the government raised the price of postage for the duration of World War I by a penny, then moved it back to 2 cents after Harding took office. So, in that case, $3 x 50/2 = $75.00.
The stamp above was issued for use during World War I. A comparable 3 cents stamp was issued for World War II, but from this time forward, there was never another rate decrease. It stayed at 3 cents until 1957, when it was increased to 4 cents.
ABC is broadcast over-the-air.
