Well enough of this poseur. His insulting remarks are idiotic and are indefensible in reason. Does he consider it "hateful" that both the Old & New Testaments show profound respect for lines of descent? That the Fifth Commandment clearly comes down on the side of respect for lineage; that from Genesis X on, the concept of nations is recognized & accepted; that those who seek new world orders--a group which certainly included Lenin, Stalin & Hitler--generally reject Scriptural rules with a vengeance?
Again, I do not mean to offend. But someone needs to explain the Western Heritage, to which previous Church leaders made enormous contributions, to this Pope; and maybe even try to help him to understand that the greatest motivation that inspires patriotism is love, not hate. (The hate is usually found on the side of those who would destroy what the patriotic have achieved.)
Unfortunately for Pope Francis' credibility, there are also many of us who understand the implications of one who appears to need to attribute base motives to those whose only offense is wanting to preserve what their forebears achieved.
