Sorry, but remember this....trends, trends, trends count!!!
Wrong, it shows voter enthusiasm and is a hint to a Red Tide.
Early voting means nothing except those votes will be added to the total at the end.

Actually, it is a real metric, as opposed to polls, and the numbers of returned ballots by party affiliation can be compared against the numbers received in prior election cycles. So it means something.
Compared to 2016; the Dem were up if I remember right after the early voting started.
There are a couple of big advantages to banking votes early.
The GOTV effort can concentrate on the people who haven’t voted yet.
The banked votes mean you don’t have to worry about people skipping long election day lines or skipping the election day vote because they have “to pick up the kids from daycare”.
Nonsense!
except those votes will be added to the total at the end.
That means early (and mail in) votes DO mean something. Quite a lot actually. There cant be a blue wave with Republicans dominating in mail in AND early votes
Incorrect. They’re usually counted first.
“Early voting means nothing except those votes will be added to the total at the end.”
Someone wake up grumpy today lol?
Early voting counts are a good indicator of enthusiasm, and momentum. And...we’re kicking their butts! Plus, it’s demoralizing to the enemy. Gillum is already starting to whine like Obama.
It shows the base is enthusiastic, which is not suppose to happen for the Party who has the WH in the midterms. Usually, Democrats dominate early voting, not same day voting.
