The website says that the congregation was founded more than 150 years ago and is a conservative Jewish congregation but is also progressive and relevant to the way we live today. Huh? They can't be serious with that statement.

Intentionally misleading by not capitalizing the ‘c’.
‘Conservative Judaism’ is the proper name of a denomination that is liberal. It adopted the ‘Conservative’ name because the ‘Reform’ denomination was even kookier a 100 or more years ago.
Now, both equally anti-traditional movements are writing themselves out of living Jewish history the way Sadducees and Sabbateans did.
