Why do so many Jews vote for Democrats? “Jews don’t have to be Democrats.” The mass shooting at the Pittsburgh Jewish Synagogue by a Jew hater makes no sense. Jews are brilliant people, talented people, educated people. They believe in family, they believe in God, they love America — the only country (besides Israel) in world history that ever welcomed them. They are ambitious, self-reliant, successful and business-oriented. Yet, hatred by a Democrat nut job, Bowers,(the Shooter) is now being classified as an anti- Semite, anti-migrant and a gun fanatic. Again Jews don't have to be Democrats. Perhaps it's now time for the Jewish people to break away from old thinking and create a new future.
They are a lot like our black people. They seem to be puppets for those who only want to use them to gain and keep power. Also, Christianity was born because it is believed that the powerful Jewish leaders crucified Christ, and they may have a problem with that. Having said that, Christianity loves and supports Israel because Christ, himself was a Jew, as were John The Baptist, the Apostles, and nearly all involved in the early Christian ministries from the resurrection on through Paul’s ministry to the Gentiles. The Jewish people are, no question about it, the chosen race and are loved so much by Christians everywhere. We mourn for how they have and are suffering at the hands of those who truly hate them, but, yet, politically, they support those very people. It is not understandable.

When I think of secular Jews, Woody Allen jumps into my mind immediately. It seems that those in the entertainment business are particularly separated from and do not practice their faith. That certainly was not true of those who died in the massacre on Saturday. I noticed from the list of the deceased that most of them were quite old, which speaks a lot, perhaps, about how the young have pulled away from traditional faith to make secularism their religion and that applies to Christianity, as well. Secularism seems to be taking us back to some really bad old times. Too bad, that our men have lost so much of their testosterone and, too bad, that so many women seem to be producing high doses of it! That is an “off the cuff” remark, but I think it holds an answer to the some of the conflicts we are in which star so many weak and men in the press who have no solutions except to constantly criticize the one man we can identify who has testosterone and that is President Trump. If the left is successful in their revolution to socialism or worse, great mourning is ahead for America. She will be utterly destroyed and her memory will be lost in a generation or less. Most of us have only one weapon and that it to VOTE. The future hangs in the balance.

I have a social worker mindset but have been a lifelong conservative. The two are not mutually exclusive.

Jewish people are socialist by nature. Israel was founded on socialist principles. When I lived in Israel during the 70’s, my kibbutz was socialist in its purest form. American Jews who are now in their 50’s are mostly Democrats as are their parents. And because of this, many kids of those parents are now Democrats also.
My friends who I lived in Israel with, are all Democrats, to a point where they spend their evenings on FakeBook, congratulating each other on what good Jews they are and how they hate Conservatism and Trump. These are the Jews who prefer Peres over Netanyahu. One thing they have in common is, they are very wealthy, they contribute to the Democrats and at the same time, contribute to Jewish causes.

Swedes, Danes, English, Scots, Dutch, North Germans, and Norwegians make up European Protestantism and all are somewhat socialist. They’ve even infected mainstream protestant churches over here. Socialism is a plague.

Many years ago the Republican party wanted nothing to do with Jews or Catholics. We’re only just recently getting Catholic votes because of the pro-life issue.

I bet rural living Jews vote fairly differently. The problem is there are so few of them I doubt they even poll for that. The swing in the Catholic vote by region is enormous, like Louisiana Catholics and Maryland Catholics are like polar opposites politically, if I recall. Could be something similar goes on with Jews, it’s just that they almost invariably choose to live in similar urban-type areas.

I’d say that about 30% of ones that identify as Jews have been in a synagogue in the last two years.
It seems like Jews in general have a bizarre death wish to me. They get attacked, but they’ll still fight tooth and nail against self defense. They vote democrat, even though they hate Israel and are filled with anti-semites. They love them some communists, even though Communists have eradicated and persecuted them all over the world. It makes no sense.
