New York Giants backup quarterback Kyle Lauletta who many fans believe should replace Eli Manning as the teams starter was busted in New Jersey on Tuesday morning for allegedly nearly hitting a police officer with his car, according to a report.
The 23-year-old rookie from the University of Richmond was on his way to Big Blues practice facility in East Rutherford when he failed to obey an officers directions in Weehawken, NJ.com reported.

Must be fun being an NFL coach these days.
NFL players actually have a lower crime rate than their peers outside of the NFL.
Or else these stories wouldn’t be news.
The norm is never news.
Trade him to Oakland
Nearly. So he wasn’t hit. Obey what? Maybe he missed the directions. What was the cop doing? Arrested not hitting a cop? Need more details.
:)
Don’t get me WRONG.
I LOVED Football until a few years ago. Then liked it.
Now don’t watch it.
Went from 5 games a week to not even watching my team of 40 years.
I have NOTHING in common with BLM.
The LESS you have in common with anything, the less interested you become.
Kinda depends how you define "their peers outside of the NFL."
Welp, restart the NFL player arrest clock
“Trade him to Oakland”
Or the Vikings.
The Giants don’t need a QB with their swiss cheese O-line. They should put Saquan Barkley in the wildcat and let him run. That’s basically their offense.
I’m guessing they, like most celeb types, don’t get charged or get reduced charges.
Crime doesn’t matter anyway.
The LOST ME with BLM.
The ONE sport I REALLY LOVED.
I don’t need them to turn into hooligans to stop watching.
I never officially said to anyone or any group or even to myself “i am not watching anymore”
It just happened :(
And you’re right. If it was measured against black kids their age, then not such a difficult level to overcome.
You are all wealthy and there SHOULD be a difference.
If it was less crime than their peers of All colors and creeds, that would be impressive.
I dont remember which one it was, I must admit.
probably got mouthy, wouldn’t say yes officer ok officer, have a nice day and just acted from the wrong play book.
I’m betting you’re right.
I’m betting having 20 million to put towards defense and a public defender are two EXTREMELY different things.
Not to mention an ENTIRE league’s political power, which i’m sure is not minuscule.
When you mention “football”. do you mean all football or just NFL?
I love college football. Don’t care who’s playing either. It could be Tulsa vs Central Michigan and I’ll watch it.
OTOH, the NFL? I’ve boycotted them last year. I refuse to watch a game - even if my Packers are playing. I did make one exception last year. I watched the Super Bowl - but that was only because it was being played here in Minneapolis.
Failed to obey police instruction?
Don’t they just usually shoot you for doing that?
An illegal right turn is grounds for arrest? He should have been shot......./s
One time the NFL dominated my Sundays. When BLM and the kneelers came into the spotlight I realized these players don’t give a single rip about their fans or that it is the fans that pay their salaries. I am slowly getting into NCAA sports because their for 95% of the players they are playing or the love of the game, knowing they have a 0% chance of turning pro.
I think I heard that going into Sunday's game Manning had already been sacked 24 times...If that keeps up he'll be dead by the end of the season.
