The number of flea-born Typhus cases in Los Angeles has hit 107.

So far this year 72 patients have been recorded by Los Angeles County Department of Public Health with a further 15 in Long Beach and 20 in Pasadena.

In the 2000s there were around 20 cases recorded per year and analysts are putting the dramatic rise down to a 47 per cent increase in homelessness since 2012.

One official in Long Beach told NBC News that almost half a million potential cases are 'under investigation.'

The $h!tholes are in LA and Frisco. They were invited.

When you have a population of slime and filth crapping in the streets you can expect nothing better than rats and typhus and bubonic plague.

PETA doesn’t care, as long as the cats are alright.

It’s such a sad story. These places are so liberal about homeless, that they find it gets worse and worse. And we see these disease outbreaks as a result of being so liberal.

What do the do, how do they solve this problem which resulted from their own policies?

They can’t blame this on Trump or any Republicans.

Cats and rats.

Snort.

Per the CDC: “Transmission
Typhoid fever and paratyphoid fever are transmitted commonly through the consumption of drinking water or food contaminated with the feces of people who have typhoid fever cases or are chronic carriers.”

Typhus is a different disease than typhoid although understandable people, incl me, get the two confused.

I watch the show Flip or Flop and the vast majority of the houses are immigrant flop houses prior to rehab.

Agreed, and the temperate climate where winter is very mild.

I live in North Dakota. Needless to say our homeless population is miniscule with limited shelters in our -20 to -30 winters.

Mayor Typhus Garcetti ought to be more concerned with the disease ridden hordes of homeless in LA than going all over the country in a hopeless bid to be the Democrat presidential nominee in two years. It’s hilarious to see leftist hypocrisy in nearby Venice over a proposal for a temporary homeless shelter. The residents gave Garcetti and other LA city officials an earful at a recent community meeting where they discussed this plan. Venice is hardcore lefty, but they’re going total NIMBY over this. These lefties are all compassionate until you put the problem on their doorstep to deal with!

Northern Wisconsin here. You couldn’t pay me to live in CA. I’d rather have the cold winters than to deal with illegals and vagrants.

“They can’t blame this on Trump or any Republicans.”

Logically speaking, I’d say you are correct.

But there’s nothing logical about how lefties think or what they will say to motivate the useful idiots. Give it time, they will find some way to blame this on Trump.

Per the CDC: “Transmission Typhoid fever and paratyphoid fever are transmitted commonly through the consumption of drinking water or food contaminated with the feces of people who have typhoid fever cases or are chronic carriers.”

Apparently there are different types of typhus. There is is flea-borne variety of typhus which IS spread by rats, raccoons, feral cats, etc. It is not considered very life threatening, clearing up after a round of antibiotics. The fact that there are rats and the like in L.A. is a consequence of people living in a filthy manner. The feral cats are an unfortunate result of negligent uncaring people who fail to spay or neuter their cats and who toss them into the street like refuse instead of cherishing them for the loving pets they are.

I saw a video of a couple driving into LA and for blocks and blocks as they approached downtown the sidewalks were wall to wall tents and makeshift shelters with hundreds of people just milling around or sleeping on the sidewalks, on benches and actually in the street. At every intersection they panned down the side streets and it was the same as far as you could see. I was amazed. I knew it was bad but I had NO idea it was this bad.
